Excellent Pick
I've been looking for a pick from Fender that can meet the needs for what I love about the Fender Extra Heavy celluloid pick, and this pick delivers really well. It lasts much longer than the celluloid pick and is really durable. I couldn't get through a three hour show with a celluloid extra heavy because it would wear down so fast. These new delrin picks last a long time. Gives… read more my telecaster the tone I've been wanting with the right feel for picking strings. Responds well with the guitar running through my pedalboard into my Princeton reverb. This line of fender picks seems to essentially be Fender's version of Dunlop Tortex picks; same material as Tortex but with Fender gauges for pick thickness as opposed Dunlop's. If you like tortex picks, you will like these picks. In my opinion they are better than tortex picks because they are in a better range of guages. It's hard to find picks that are 1.21mm without paying more money. These picks are pretty much the same gauge as Julian Lage's pick of choice, they provide great Scofield tones, and they will give you Garcia tones a-plenty. The Fender logo is also reflective so you can see it on stage easily even when it's dark. It's my go-to pick for electric guitar at present. I've played two shows back to back over this past weekend and have only used this pick for my electric guitar and couldnt be happier. I'm getting another 12 pack because I want to show Fender they need to keep making these! Give them a try if you're interested in trying this gauge and are looking for a long-lasting alternative to the celluloid extra heavy picks.
