Good when they work
Not hard to use, and cables sound great. However, the failure rate is way too high. Building a board with these and the George Ls cables. These cables seem fragile. Much Messing with them seems to cause an unacceptable number of failures. Go with the George Ls, because they seem far better overall.
0 Issues!
I completely rewired my board with 3 of these packs. Not a single cable issue yet. You definitely want to test each cable as you make them so that you don't have to work backwards. So long as you are careful in twisting the cable end into the connection joint and tightening the screw while applying pressure these will give a nice clean connection.
Good cables - just make sure to test
I think these are as good a solderless cable system as any out there. Sure, soldering cables is a better way to go, but that takes a lot of time and effort. I have used solderless cables for several years now and have never had any problems with them. So, I don't have any issues with them shorting out at gigs or even at home. With that said, however, you should have a good cable… read more tester on hand to test each cable before you put it on your board - that's only common sense, and you can pick up one pretty cheap. It is nice to be able to have your cables at a specific length, customizing the length between pedals. Overall this is a good product - the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because there have been a couple times where I would have to "remake" the cable as it didn't work when I tested it. This usually came down to a faulty connector - the cable and other connectors would be fine. But again, a good product, definitely worth buying.
Disaster
Impossible to get these to pass signal for more than a few minutes. Absolute junk. Cables would not pass signal on the first, second, sometimes tenth attempt at making them. No way I would trust these on a gig!
Not great
These are not easy to assemble. I often have to cut and try again to make up for intermittent or faulty signal which of course defeats the purpose of customizing the cable lengths. Disappointed to say the least. I do not trust that these cables will get me through a gig without signal loss. The larger cables/connectors are far better
