Get a grip!
These are the most comfortable picks I've found so far. The grip is very nice and the shape makes sweep picking smoother than the standard Fender 351 shape. I only wish Sweetwater would carry the .73mm picks. Even the 1mm are a little too thick for me.
Best Picks
This are my all time favorite picks for my playing style, the grip it great and the sharp point is perfect for hitting every note just right. Great for speed picking and downpicking, of course.
Perfect
These really hit the spot. Before these, I used to go between the Dunlop Flow .88 and the Ernie Ball Prodigy 1.5 mini/standard. These are right in the middle there, and the texturing isn't a gimmick. Really great. Cost a little more, so don't lose them.
Nailed it!
I am convinced that James Hetfield (my long lost brother) designed this pick just for me since we have identical play styles. I have played a green standard .88 Tortex for 30 years. This is a welcome upgrade, as Hetfield took a classic pick and added some subtle features. The White Fang is almost identical in silhouette and size to a standard Tortex pick, with a slightly-pointy… read more tip. The pointy tip gives a little more crunch on power chords but also increases drag, so you have to get used to the tip, but the result is more brilliant notes. Still, the pick remains rounded and not too pointy, so that it glides over strings as needed. The bumpy texturing is grippy on my thumb (super grippy!) even when wet. I like the white color (anything but black!) so I don't lose them. The graphics are cool and don't wear off easily. I think James Hefield took the perfect classic proven pick design/material and enhanced it just a little in every way. I wish Dunlop would go ahead and make these in different colors etc. This pick is near perfection!
I’m hooked
Bought both the 1.0 and the 1.14 and both feel good in the hand and the textured areas really gives you a solid grip and keeps the pick from moving around in your hand when your picking.
