It's got a solid plastic piece on each end that is not pliable like leather and won't fit any of my acoustic guitars because the strap button is too close to the neck. In addition, I don't trust this hard plastic against the finish of my LTD EC1000 Koa electric. This strap will go entirely unused and I'll probably give it away or throw it out. There is just no need for a LOCKING… read more strap at all. It's also very difficult to UNlock once secured. Wasted my money on this item unfortunately. I do NOT recommend this strap for any player or guitar under any playing circumstances.
Perfect strap for guitars that neck dive!

I got this strap for two reasons: 1. For the 59.5" length(great for guitars that have the strap button at the neck joint). 2. For the leather/suede backing to stop "neck dive". I own a Gibson SG and the neck stays wherever you want it. No slippage whatsoever! Another bonus about this strap is that its the most comfortable strap I've ever owned. I love this strap enough that I'm… read more seriously thinking of selling off my other straps that I leave on my other electrics and make this my only strap. The locking mechanism on this strap is quick and very secure. Two small quibbles I have is that the leather/suede backing sheds a little and gets on my white SG. Also, because the strap doesn't slide, my shirt gets caught underneath the strap which is to be expected with a leather strap. These aren't that big of an issue, just something that should be kept in mind if you're interested in this strap.
