I was hoping this strap would work on my ES-339, but that guitar has one of the strap buttons on the back side of the neck joint and this strap doesn't fit well on that type of guitar. So I put it on a Telecaster instead and it works great on that type with the button on the top "horn" . So I put the Lock-it strap (which is also a great secure strap) from the tele on the 339. My new Fujigen has extra large strap buttons, so the D'Addario Strap Lock didn't fit. Rob from Sweetwater promptly responded to my call for help and recommended the Ernie Ball. He went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable making the order, and took care of the ordering process over the phone with me. The Ernie Ball fits the Fujigen with a snug connection that is easy… read more to remove when you're ready to. It's comfortable to wear, has a soft material with a bit of padding. I have the 2" model which works great for the weight of my instrument. My only gripe is that it's very long and I can't get the guitar quite as high up as I would like. I'm 6'1", and even though it looks a bit geeky to have a guitar above the belt, it can be a lot more comfortable to play. At its highest, it comes in right around my waist. Keep the minimum and maximum length of your strap in mind when purchasing.

I like this strap so much, I ordered another one. Looks good on my new Stratocaster that I also ordered from Sweetwater. These guys know their stuff!
