What a fantastic sounding cabinet. I have a PRS Sonzera 50 watt combo amp driving this set up and could not be happier. The build quality is second to none. Many thanks to my salesman Evan. He paired up these two perfectly. As always Sweetwater is the best.

Open-Back in Black

I absolutely love the sound of this cab. I"m pairing it with a Marshall 410hjs. The bass runs up your spine. The treble cuts through crisp, and the mids are clear and responsive. My only complaint is that orange changes $200 more for the cb version which in comparison is somewhat unreasonable.

Awesome speaker acabinet

I have quite a few speaker cabs and when I come home I have made this one my first choice to have sitting by my comfortable couch due to it's great tone and I love the height of the cab over a single 12" cab. For some reason I decided to get an Orange AD30H and Orange made an immediate impact on me so I bought this cab. Orange makes a super product. 2 x 12" cabs can be heavy. This cab is a breeze to tote around. It gets a sound that is between closed and open back; a controlled and focused sound. The AD30H and this cab brought me into the Orange product line and my other Orange purchases have been solid buys. The sound of this cab is huge for being an open back. I just ordered a second cab so that I can load it up with a Celestion gold and a Red Alnico tone Tubby, I looked at a lot of empty cabs online and the choice to get the Orange open back 2 x 12" as a cab for different speakers was an easy choice. Don't get me wrong, I will never modify my first Orange cab because it sounds full and sweat. This is an outstanding cab!

Orange is the new Black

I have owned a Aracom 50 watt Evolver similar to a vintage Marshall now for roughy 10 years and have used many cabinets with the amp, VHT, Marshall, TwoRock, 1x12's, 2x12's, 3x12's, 4x10's, 4x12's and while all sounded good this very compact open back 2x12 just nailed it, my amp has never sounded better. And I have… read more used V30's with the amp before but something about this cabinet just has worked better then any of the rest, not sure what or why, maybe front panel thickness, the open back, but it just worked great. Only thing hard to find are the factory slip covers that fit this cab, they exist just most are for the larger closed back cabs.

Perfect size, great projection.

Bought in the black color for my mesa dual recto. this cab produces great bassey cleans, but also crips defined mids and highs. been having a blast with it since i got it. The speakers are offset which helps the projection of the sound. vintage 30's sound great.
