My whole entire career I've used Mesa and Marshall cabs not thinking I need to change a thing, for whatever reason I just felt something was missing from my sound, I knew it wasn't my amp hello Friedman so I finally decided what the heck try and orange 4 by 12 I have literally punch myself in the face 5000 times for not buying this thing when I was a rockstar, the difference this… read more cab makes to your sound to your tone to your confidence is unmeasurable, it's not only the sound in your head it's the sound in everybody that's ever played rock and roll head, it simply cannot be beat it's simply is worth every penny I am floored with how good I sound oh, don't even trip buy it right now and feel like I do
The best sounding 4x12 out there IMO
Super solid construction, not to mention aesthetically, a very nice looking cabinet. The sound for what I'm playing is perfect and likely is just as useful in all types of music, sounds exceptionally good clean and with distortion. I'm using a vintage Traynor YBA-1 head pushing pedals through it, Drop A tuning. All frequencies are represented well by the vintage 30s, even the clear… read more bass response is amazing. Having the slant cab is the way to go as you get a little better monitoring from the top 2 speakers as opposed to a straight cab. The way I see it is that I bought a cabinet that will last me indefinitely, no need to upgrade. I also want to say that Geoff Allen was and continues to be a great resource in sourcing the gear I need. He really went above and beyond on this sale in particular; even sending me extra pics of the actual cabinet! You just can't get better service than this. Job well done to him and Sweetwater.
Friggin Awesome!
This cabinet is one of a kind. You can't beat having 4 of the Vintage 30s in such an awesome compact slanted cab. I've had mine for 4 years and playing anything from Metal to Blues it wins in all categories. I highly recommend this cabinet to anyone who is out gigging and needs something to wow the crowd.
Serious Thump!!!
Hate to say it, but Marshall cabs take a back seat to this Orange cab. 3 inches wider, with more chunk, more thump, more scream! The best sound and the best construction, Plain and simple. Thanks again Nick Schenkel!
Best cab i have ever heard.
Very heavy. 110 pounds i think. Dont let that discourage you. Sounds amazing. Warm and rich.
