I've been using this stand to take to gigs, the little case that it folds down into is great for packing up and taking on the go. It's good quality and worth the extra money that you pay compared to other rubber metal stands that will break easily if you are gigging regularly.

This is a really innovative design. It looks fantastic, holds a wide variety of instruments very well, is stable, very simple and easy to set up and break down (takes literally 2 seconds), is very compact when stored and when in use, and feels very well-made and durable. One of the best instrument stands I have ever used, hands down.… read more Rarely do I encounter something that deserves its "patent" or "patent pending" moniker which I mostly consider marketing fluff. This fully deserves its patent. Very well-engineered. You'll see when you get your hands on it. The only drawback is it is not the lightest in terms of weight, but also not unreasonably heavy. Holds my small-body electric bass and acoustic mandolin as well as my acoustic and electric guitars very well. If you want a well-made, very functional, compact, portable, and even sexy-looking stand to hold a couple instruments, this is it! Fantastic product. I try not to give 5 star reviews often. I honestly can't think of how they could improve this product, though...

Your Cooperstand works great works great to give me easy access to my Ambush Basses. Very steady with solid birch-ply construction, and the silicon padding protects from scratching.
