Great strap
This strap made it really easy for me to switch guitars live. I have in ear monitors and a guitar wireless pack on the strap so it is much easier to just put the same strap on each guitar. The locking mechanism is easy to use, just make sure you have it all the way on before you start jumping around. I would love to see some more strap colors, graphics and materials.
Lock it strap
Excellent product. I love these straps. If its good enough for Jonny Lang its good enough for me.
Works with my Yamaha
I was having an issue trying to find a strap for my Yamaha AC1r acoustic. The 1/4" guitar cord goes through the bottom "button". Can't use a regular strap lock so I chose this hoping it would work. It does! The hole in the strap is small but flexible enough to fit and the lock holds!
Great straps
Great straps, easy on and off, they stay locked, great for my Tele and Strat.
Will it fit?
In short, most likely. Even if you have a large post, it will probably fit where others may not. I prefer the security of locking straps, but my D'Addario one would not fit on the larger end post of my new Epi Masterbilt. This one did (though with much initial effort to stretch the leather slot). I did have to maneuver the leather a bit to allow the plastic lock portion to close… read more on the post, but it does do so. (The lock on the D'Addario was too thick for the slot.) Mission accomplished for me, as I prefer to leave my strap on anyway. I would not enjoy removing and replacing this one every session, though it would likely get easier as the leather stretched. So, if you want a locking strap for one of the many acoustic/electrics with the large end post that has the built in jack, this is a good bet. Should go on effortlessly for most smaller posts, as reported by most other reviewers. I was tempted to give 4 1/2 only because the easy remove/replace feature doesn't quite work out for my guitar. But that's a fit issue more than a product issue. The strap is everything it's advertised to be.
