These cables are junk. Purchased two and one has already failed in my home studio with little use. Spend more money and buy something that will last.

I purchased the 10' cable to replace a failing Fender instrument cable used with an electric bass. After 5 months of steady use by two of my teens, there have been no issues. I have also used this between a DI box and amp to record both DI signal and mic'd amp. Clear tone, no static, works great!
Did not last two months.

I purchased two cables and take care of my gear storing when not in use. The first cable worked for about a month. I thought it was just a bad cable. It happens. The second cable did not last any longer.
