Great Little 112 Cabinet
This cabinet is great by itself, or as half of a stereo rig. The cabinet itself is made from void-free baltic birch marine plywood, utilizing finger joints at the corners for a very strong build. This cab can withstand just about anything you can throw at it. It is over-built and it should last for a very long time under the stresses of touring/gigging on a continuous basis.… read more The cabinet is ported for extra bass response and it handles the bass quite well. The custom voiced Celestion 80W speaker(s) work well with all of my amp heads, but I use it the most with a Egnater Tweaker 40 head. They sound great together and they can get very loud without "flubbing-out". Thanks to the porting, and the closed back design, the bass sounds great at all volume levels. I like this cab so much, I'm getting another to run in stereo off of the heads that I use when playing out. I also have a Egnater 212 Tourmaster over-sized cabinet, that uses the same speakers X 2. The 212 is not ported, but it is oversized and sounds fantastic with everything I have played through it... even a Vox AC4 BL! This is a very good speaker cabinet, at a very reasonable price. It's very hard to find better at this price point, and even somewhat beyond it. Try this cab with your rig and you will see (hear) why this is worth considering for an extra cabinet, or as your main cabinet.
All the sound I need!
I have used this amp in all kinds I'd settings. I play Wednesday night with a full big band, Saturday night at winery's playing jazz and blues and Sunday evening at church. This cabinet takes anything I throw ar it. I am using it with an Egnatie Tweaker head and it works perfectly. I have no worries about the speaker taking anything I pit into it. This is the only amp/cab that… read more I have kept that wasn't a fender in 30 years . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Egnater 112x Cab
I bought a used Egnater Rebel 30 Combo from a local recording studio. It's open back and just didn't have enough bottom end punch. I got a good deal on this extension cab which is closed back..... when I got it I put it above the combo on an amplifier stand. Now my sound is more balanced!
ADDED PUNCH!!!
Got this extension cabinet for my Rebel 20 head and cab that I already had. Adding the second cab was a great decision and makes me like my set-up even more. Egnater builds great amps and I really like my stack. Well built and doesn't weigh a ton. My stack is small enough to transport easily but big in sound. Love It!!! Punchy L'il Cabinet!
I purchased an Egnater Rebel 20 Head from my Lead Player in my Band. He was using a different Cabinet than the matching one. I found the Egnater Rebel 112x Cabinet to be a vast improvement over the other. It is very punchy at all levels of volume and wattage. It delivers great high end without being screachy and really thumps with the Mids and Lows. I especially like the lightness… read more of the Cabinet as well as the Head. Being 50+ a light amp for gigs is very important. The small footprint is helpful to with playing in a 6 piece band.
