Excellent cab

Been reviewing cabs for awhile. Went through a few different tube amps, until I found the Revv Generator. Had an orange 4x12 cab, which is a really nice cab too. But the Mesa tone has always caught my ear. So I purchased the 2x12 vertical. Instantly the differences in sound truly shines through. Seems more articulate. Changed the tone of my clean channel immensely. Tightened up… read more the dirt channels, gave some top end sparkle it was missing before, and overall tightened and cleaned the whole tonal range up. Small Cabinet big sound

I've been thinking about purchasing this Mesa Cab for months. I was using two Orange Cabs which sound great. But i wanted to match my Mesa Triple crown 100 with a Mesa speaker cabinet. The Mesa cab is built like a tank and sounds better the more i play though it. This Rectifier Vertical 2x12 sounds just as powerful as both of the two 2x12 Orange cabs. All the reviews i read said… read more this Mesa cab sounded huge. I'm not to fond of the way the casters are mounted. There's a quick release plate for the casters, which makes it easy to remove them. But the casters set in to much and the cabinet feels unsteady with the head on top. Not a big deal. I just don't use the casters. The Cab is Built very solid and takes up less room. I can get a really nice crisp sound or a Metal melting crunch. Sweetwater techs and sales engineers are very knowledgeable. I have a great sales engineer(Jeff Bohan). He's helped me so much.

A fantastic cabinet!

A few months ago, I got a great deal on a used Mesa/Boogie Mark 5:25. I already had what I thought was a good 212 cab loaded with Celestion g12v-70s. It sounded great. It's built like a tank and visually stunning, too.
