Retro Vintage Series jacquard Strap with Locking Ends - Mariner Review

I ordered a second one!

After using this strap on a Taylor Academy 12, I tried it on the Academy 12e acoustic-electric, then measured both endpins. Both are 1/2" outside diameter, with the inner diameter holding the strap being 1/4" for the acoustic and 3/8" for the acoustic-electric (makes sense since it has a 1/4" jack). The L.R. Baggs EAS endpin is 9/16" OD and 3/8" to carry the strap. Eureka! Just… read more a millimeter or so wider on each side of the circle on the inner layer of leather will do the trick (or a 16th in the English measure)!

Easy on and a well-built U.S. strap, Elegant look, too!

This locking strap is secure as advertised, and easy to install on the acoustic strap buttons of the Taylor Academy 12. The locking slide will easily hold even if I need to cut the open hole on the back of the strap a bit larger for an acoustic-electric endpin. See the closeup, as I am impressed with the stitch spacing along the edges of the embroidery. I would expect this strap… read more will hold up without fraying for quite some time. The Mariner pattern goes well with my usual blue shirts, too! (I've been a mariner in Alaska, so that also colors my choice.)
