I bought the cabinet to use with my Marshall DSL-1HR head, with the intention of being able to upgrade to the Marshall SC20H Studio Classic thinking I might want more power. Well, it seems that this cabinet is a perfect match for the single watt Marshall head. the speaker brings out the honest Marshell classic tones we all love. amazing clean tones almost glass like and warm creamy read more blues, classic jazz and vintage Rock. The combination of the Marshall DSL-1HR Amp Head and this 70 watt open back Celestain speaker has you covered. Takes pedals extremely well . Everything you would expect from a Marshall head and speaker cabinet, at a volume that makes playing at home pleasurable with that Marshall Tone .

Awesome Cabinet

I love how lightweight the cabinet is. I run a Helix into a Seymour Duncan powerstage, then out to this cabinet. I prefer this hands down over an frfr set up. It's lightweight, loud, and sounds great from fender cleans to the Marshall Rock sounds that I put into it.

Extremely well made. Sounds great. Really like these V type speakers I use it as an extra cab for my combo and it works out great.

Bought this cabinet after getting my sc20h. This cabinet is perfect for the jcm800 mini head. At first I was unsure if I made the right choice. It sounded thin and bright but after using it at practice a few times, the speaker is finally broken in. It's deep and full and has just the right type and amount of brightness in a band context. Open back design fills the room. Easily keeps read more up with a loud drummer and beyond. I also have the sc212. The sc112 sounds more full, warmer, better to my ears when playing at home or small to mid sized rooms. The 212 seems a bit harsh and very much more focused, has somewhat of a bark to it, is only slightly louder than the 112 but the speakers are not yet broken in. Time will tell but as for now the sc112 is my go to cab for the jcm800 mini hands down. Absolutely love it.
