Guitar or bass

It fits on both my Orangewood acoustic guitar and my Ibanez acoustic bass. I may get another D'Addario feedback eliminator so I don't loose the one I have switching between the two. It doesn't change the amplified tone of your guitar but, of course, muffles the acoustic characteristics of your instrument not amplified.

Plain and simple

This thing does its job and does it well. I have one in 3 of my 4 guitars.

Simple and effective

It's simple and it works (in guitars with 4" sound holes). I used it with a Taylor 210ce and Taylor 414ce so far and placed and removed them multiple times which you can do by just lifting the strings up and out of the way. Even if you have access to fancier methods of feedback elimination, keep one around in case the fancy gear breaks on you. This solid chunk of rubber should read more be almost impossible to break (just don't lose it). Notes: they are shipping as D'addario branded products now, not as the Planet Waves product still pictured. They're still made in the USA. They are still attached to the shipping cardboard by two plastic lines punched through the middle in random fashion (you can see an example clearly in the pictures). This shouldn't affect the sound or the look (from more than a foot away), but at least one reviewer got upset about it.

Big Difference for Little Money

Kerry Potter

The cover was a little hard to get into the soundhole of my Ibanez 105E acoustic bass, but once it was installed what a huge difference it made. I can now use on stage amplification along with a feed to the soundboard. I also found out that it helped with the articulation of my acoustic bass sound. If you are having trouble with your acoustic guitar or bass feeding back and it read more has a 4" to 4 1/2" inch soundhole this thing is the end of your problems. Great cheap fix -- way to go D'Addario!
