I am overly happy with this guitar! It is beautiful and playable right out of the box. The feel of the fretboard is smooth & easy to navigate. The clean tone is crisp and warm, and with distortion, it is plenty thick or gritty depending on how the tone dial is set. The coil splitting humbucker is certainly fun to play with for additional tones. Overall, this PRS seems to have… read more smoothness & sustain to whatever I dial in. As a lefty, I don't get a lot of options, but this one is a home run! I have to give gratitude to Clint Bransteter, my sales engineer who was just incredible in guiding me through the buying process. Your knowledge & care stands out.

Everything about this guitar just works well for me from its shape and countours to its setup. This is my most recent guitar purchased and I wish that I knew then what I know now, it would have saved me a lot of time and money. I would say that it's the most comfortable and easiest playing guitar that also sounds good that I currentlly own. I'm comparing it to a CV 50s Telecaster,CV… read more 60s Stratocaster, Gretsch 2622 Streamliner, Gretsch 5220 Electromatic ,and even a Gibson 60s Standard Les Paul. All of these guitars are great playing guitars but I find myself favoring the PRS more.
PRS is Worth the Wait!

I've always had a one woman / one guitar mentality. However, when my Fender was in the shop I knew I had to get a backup. I hadn't purchased a guitar in about 8 years so I was quite torn between the PRS and the Gretsch. In the end, I decided on the PRS. I am so glad I did, it plays like a dream. I have to say it's easier to play compared to my Mustang. My only indecisive problem… read more was which color? As they were all out of stock it didn't matter that I had to wait a bit. Funny enough the charcoal was my 4th choice. But in the end I'm glad I went with this color scheme. It is remarkable in person and the pictures don't do it justice.

I saw this guitar back in January and knew I had to have it. I put my order in right away. Brand new for 2020. I checked almost every day to see if it was available yet.
