Amazing!! more than what I expected

Not only was the instrument absolutely beautiful the sound was amazing. Took a little adjustment to get use to playing with the metal strings but now that I'm comfortable I don't think I want to ever play a regular ukulele again. Hurts saying that btw lol

Great Uke, Very playable, unique sound and feel

This uke is one giant contradiction. Officially it's soprano scale, but it looks and feels like it should be at least a concert. I didn't find the fingerboard crowded as I do on some Sopranos. The tone is also not very Soprano like at all, it's actually quite rich and mellow, it has a fullness and low end almost like you'd expect from a tenor. It also has a bit of weight to it. read more I've heard some people say they think it's quiet but a unique effect I've noticed is the sound in more directional, it's quieter than my other ukes when I'm behind it, but if I'm in front of it it actually projects quite well. The factory setup was great. Intonation is pretty spot on all over the fretboard, the action is quite low (perfect for me). I also own a Godin Multiuke and you can feel a family resemblance with its much bigger brother. Everything I love about playing the Multiuke(neck, frets, etc.) is all there. I went into the store to pick up a Martin Concert and almost didn't try this. I ended up leaving with both because it was just so impressive and distinct. Where the Martin is very light, bright, and chimey, this is much darker and fuller, it feels a little jazzy or bluesy which isn't always where ukuleles fit sound profile wise for me. Also, it's made in Canada so score one for North American made.
