Gator Soprano Ukulele Case
This case fits and protects my Cordoba soprano ukulele perfectly. It is plush on the inside so it does not scratch the instrument. I am very pleased with it!
Great case
This is a great case. It arrived quickly and was easy to order the size and specs we needed. Sweetwater customer service is top notch!
This Gator Case Has Teeth
You know the deal. One day you start a collection of instruments and then they start to populate every corner of your crib. Sure you could just lay them on the bed, up against the wall or on the floor but that would be just insane. We all know that part of responsible musical instrument ownership is proper storage of our pieces when they aren't being used, something I try to make… read more my focus when I get a new one. Being the size and material that it's made of, my soprano uke is my second most fragile instrument (first being my Concert Flute.) I'll admit I was as careful as I should have been to where I put it. Things changed after an incident involving my calico cat, my uke doing a 6ft swan dive from a holder on the wall and me screaming choice expletives from under my bed sheets. After getting up out of bed, I was relieved to see the uke fell from the wall and landed in an open dresser drawer with tshirts. This encouraged me to get serious about getting protection for this instrument. I shopped around at several places and decided I was going with a local gig on this one. At the time of my final decision I was actually in the Sweetwater Music Shop debating on getting a gig bag or case. Even though I don't have a multi thousand dollar Martin 5k, I decided on the more expensive option, the case. I'm am so glad I made that choice. First of all the case is nice and tight. I've had positive experieces with Gator products in the past, so this came as no surprise. I was also pleased that it had the three knob feet at the bottom of the case, it had locking latches and the interior was so nice. My instrument fits in there perfectly and there is a compartment more than big enough for a tuner, extra set of strings and a wiping cloth.
