Sweetwater For My Musical Gear!

Like many Americans, I've grown way too complacent using Amazon to make purchases. Sometimes without even thinking about what I'm actually buying or the cost of the item(s). When I found that Sweetwater was selling official Gibson Speed Knobs for $, where Amazon was selling the same item for $, I stopped and did the math. Depends on Pot

Forget about it if you have an older model Gibson (mine's a 65 Les Paul). They won't fit. I had to go aftermarket to find the ones that fit my older model Les Paul. Check before you buy and you'll be fine.

Not traditional quality

These are not the traditional quality of knobs I have seen from Gibson in the past. These do not have the inset numerals, and they do not fit Gibson branded potentiometers very well at all. So bad in fact that I ended up ruining a pot on my 90's LP Standard trying to fit one of the knobs onto the shaft. They do fit CTS pots to the point of being "OK". IMHO these are China made… read more knobs that Gibby simply re-markets in their vacuum packs now. Disappointing!
