Nice little kit. Unfortunately, the pickup covers were 52mm and my Player Plus pickups are 50mm. So they did not fit.

I have a '99 American Standard Strat and I had no problem with the fit. I also got the black pickguard and that was fine too. I've never done any kind of guitar modding before, but Fender has some videos online that show you how to do it and it was pretty easy, but I did have to go to a medical supply store and buy some surgical tubing for the pickup screws because mine were 20… read more years old and were all decayed, so beware of that. The tubing goes over the screws and is used keep the pickups from rattling, from what I've heard.

This fits in a mim Strat. I received and found that fender didn't put a switch tip in the package. I called Will Crisp. He sent me a another kit. I appreciate Sweetwater customer service. I'm a customer for life.

This kit and its pickup covers DO however fit a Roland G-5 VG Stratocaster (Fender by Roland) despite it not fitting a Squier by Fender.. So fear not. :)

THE PICKUP COVERS WILL NOT FIT A SQUIER BY FENDER PICKUP.THIS WAS A PROJECT GUITAR I DIDN'T KNOW THE PICKUP COVERS WOULDN'T FIT. NOW YOU DO. I THINK THEY WOULD FIT A FENDER GUITAR VERY WELL. I DRILLED SOME HOLES TO FIT THE BACK PLATE NO BIG DEAL. KNOBS FIT GOOD. ALL PARTS LOOK GREAT. REMEMBER IF YOU DON'T KNOW, THE GUY'S AT SWEETWATER DO.
