Why spend almost $ on a tuner? Accuracy, that's why. Whether setting intonation or simply tuning up being as close to perfect matters. Short of paying over 2k for a Petersen desk strobe tuner this is quite simply the finest tuner I have ever owned. Not everyone can hear the difference in microtones, but for those who can this is a must to be perfectly in tune.

This was my first experience with a strobe type tuner. In the past I have used different foot switch type tuners and clip on tuners, but not a strobe tuner. I did some research and reading on strobe tuners and how accurate they are based on the fact that they tune in "real time". The folks at Sweetwater have been really great at having all different types of musical equipment to… read more select from. I have purchased the Peterson StoboPlus HDC and have tuned all of my guitars and what a difference! The notes and chords sound so rich and full. I have also used the tuner in my set ups . Great product!! I never realized what a few cents here or there did to your tuning overall.I use the StoboPlus to tune my electric guitars, acoustics, bass and pedal steel. I even use it to help me monitor my vocals in real time. I'll be putting all the other tuners I have in a museum now.

Awesome tuner, extremely accurate, easy to use. My unbelievably trustworthy Boss TU-120 tuner from 1978 finally gave up the ghost and I needed a new bench-top tuner. Bought this one and I couldn't be happier. Well worth the cost. I just hope it lasts as long as the Boss, although since I'm 67, I probably won't. . .
