Overall my favorite Jazz size pick
I tried Gravity picks for the first time at Namm 2017 . I asked them which of their picks are comparable in size to Dunlop Jazz iii and they showed me the Sunrise Mini in 1.5 thickness and 2.0 thickness. So I bought both. The 1.5 mm pull on the string about the same as a Jazz iii pick does and the 2.0mm glides over the string more .So there is less resistance against the strings… read more with the 2.0mm . That smooth feel / less resistance helps me to play more relaxed . I prefer the tone of the 1.5 but prefer the feel of the 2.0 .The 1.5 has more attack and is slightly brighter . As far as durability , my 2.0 lasted me about 3 years before the tip started to wear and flatten out . So I'd say the $ cost is a good value . Keep in mind that I don't pick or fret excessively hard . I have a lighter touch than the average player but still wear out other ultex and nylon picks in a couple of months. Also, I like Red Bear picks .Great tone and feel but very expensive . So The Gravity picks are my regular picks now.
