Sunrise mini 3mm
Has a nice feel in your fingers, it has a bright sounding pick noise, kind of creates a pick presence that sounds different. pick glides off the strings nicely and the sunrise mini is about the same shape as a Jazz III.
Gravity Pick
Fixed up the loose grip and brightened the tone. Just listen and mitigate the pick noise.
Wow...I never thought I would review a pick!
Back in the late 'seventies I made a pick out of a piece of scrap clear Lexan. I used that pick exclusively for about ten years but I lost it. I have been searching for a replacement ever since. The Gravity Sunrise Mini is a lot wider than that pick but is the closest I have found to MY Pick of Destiny. And the nice orange color is harder to lose in a dark basement!!!
Best Picks I've Ever Used!
I've been using the Jim Dunlop Jazz 3 picks for years now and I wanted to try something new. Roughly the same size, but the thickness makes all the difference. Grips extremely well for how smooth there are, and little to no flex when playing. They come very sharp at the tip too. I bought this and the 2mm, and I love them so much already. For sure my new go-to picks!
