Breaks too easily!

These tuners are really great "to see." They're easy to read and bright. Here comes the "however"...the connection between the window and base, for me, seems to break too easily. I've had about 6 of these and every one of them broke. I'm sure the reason is because I usually keep them attached to the guitar/bass in the case.
