Excellent Guitar
A very fine guitar, and made it a better guitar after some tweaking. The factory action readings on this guitar right out of the case was .092 low E at 12th. fret, and .072 on high E string at 12th. fret. These readings are too high for finger style playing,so I brought the split saddles down.I needed an action reading around .030 lower,so that means you need to double measurement… read more at the saddle.I sanded them down approx. .060.Now I have action readings approx. .062 on low E string at 12th. fret, and .042 high E string at 12th. fret.Low E is .024 at first fret, and .014 on high E at 1st. fret. Also I had to smooth out the sharp edges on the nut, and fine sand polish, and lube with sharpened pencil tip.Now this baby plays as fine as my $2,600 Maton guitar BG808 TE model.I recommend this guitar for sure, and at a great price here at SweetWater..!!
