They say the thing that tells you if you have the right guitar is when you can't wait to get your hands on it again. I have had my Taylor now for 7 months and can't wait until I can play it again. With Elixir strings, the 214CE is one sweet sounding acoustic. I've had other acoustics in the past but could never find the right tone nor did I enjoy playing them that much. … read more Besides sounding great, the neck plays flawlessly and was expertly setup by Sweetwater. The value for the money is really high but what really matters is the joy I get from playing it.

I just unpacked my new Taylor 214. Flawless in appearance. Even better sounding. I'm a beginner again so this will be a joy to learn on. It sounds great through my BOSS acoustic live amp.
