Great for any style of music!
Can effortlessly go from classical to Jason Mraz I have been truly enjoying this.
Fantastic value for a Taylor guitar
I had been looking for a reasonably priced nylon string guitar for the purpose of doing some country style music with it. I was very fortunate to find the 214 CEN. It sounds great, the electronics work well, and the Taylor quality is all there! It was a very worthwhile purchase
Top of the line sound and playability at a quality high end guitar entry level price.
I have had this guitar for several years now and I love it. I liked it so much that I purchased the Taylor 814ce-N thinking that if my 214ce-N played so nice then the high end 814ce-N at three times the price would be three times better. I was wrong, they both are truly exceptional guitars, fitting my playing style perfectly and each sounding equally heavenly. One suggestion though,… read more my dry Wisconsin winters resulted in some fretboard shrinkage causing rough fret wires ends. I purchased a Taylor hard guitar case and with proper humidification this problem resolved itself without having to file or adjust the fret board. It's hard to keep the canvas like gig bag properly humidified.
Taylor excellent!
