A great guitar using all Maple for a distinctive sound

Stephen Leslie

This is my third Taylor from Sweetwater, my other are the 200 series one is a Sitka Spruce top with Rosewood back and the other his Koa wood. If I was going to spend money on a third Taylor, I wanted to make sure it was different from the others and so after long discussions with tom Koch my Sales Engineer, I decided on the ADe Flamed Maple, a totally different tone wood, the V read more bracing and my first Taylor made in America. I have been playing it all day it Taylor knocked it out of the park with this one, the guitar itself is beautiful, very easy to handle and the action is great. It has a very mellow sound to it and responds perfectly when I strum hard and then back off to a lighter strum. This guitar will only get better with age. The gig bag is beautiful and will protect it really well when I have to transport.

Home run for Taylor

Some how Taylor has done it again with their super inventive technique to building something new that most would say will never work. An all solid hardwood guitar that plays light and sounds bright with incredible bottom end twang. It's like rosewood/spruce and all Hog had a genius thought , that grew up into a Grand Pacific solid Maple dream come true. Very happy with this handsome read more flame maple work of art. The only thing less than perfect is the Aerocase holding a $ instrument. I really feel this guitar deserves better presentation and protection from a quality case. The strings are much different than my other Taylor's, but I have really enjoyed playing them… so much that I'm going to try a set on a different guitar. A truly special guitar with a unique personality that shines above the mix.
