Love the size
I'm not a guitarist who owns a lot of acoustics. While I've got quite a collection of electrics, I set out to pick up a great acoustic. I landed on this one because the sound was comparable to an 812, but with a shorter scale length. Might be because I don't often play acoustic, the smaller body was more comfortable, and I don't feel I had to compromise sound or quality. Beyond belief
I just bought this guitar, and it is awesome. My only concern that was up in the air was if the guitar really would sound bigger than it looks. My first run through with it, demonstrated that the sustain and tonal qualities are awesome. The more I play it, the more I hear the lows punching through, and the balance of sound across the spectrum. The neck is perfect, as is the touch.… read more One of the demonstration people said something to the effect that the GT811e is hard to put down. I am finding that to be true. You just want to play more, try new effects. I already have two new song ideas, in less than a day. I am so glad I went with the GT 811e rather than the Urban Ash. The 811e has such beautiful woodwork, design, detailing, class, and hearty, beautiful sound. The only thing I am not thrilled with is the case. I don't really enjoy unzipping and zipping the link of the guitar, and am concerned that the zipper will eventually snag or drag on the guitar's wood. The case is light weight, which is nice, but I don't care for the zipper. By the way, Sweetwater does not seem to be having the supply/delivery- issues others seemed to be having currently. I got my guitar two days ahead of schedule! Sweetwater delivers! Best company ever!
Fabulous
One hell of a beautiful looking, balanced toned guitar worth every one of the many pennies I paid for it. I have absolutely no regrets
