Honestly Outstanding.

Spectacular. Superb. When I first opened the case there were literally audible gasps from the people in the room. I've owned multiple high-end Taylor limited issue guitars, a Taylor K24, custom Koa acoustics. This is the most beautiful guitar I've seen. The finish is flawless. I've never had a 12 fret before, and I was a little nervous. But I love how it feels. So comfortable. read more The shorter neck, thinner body make it a joy to play on the couch and for smaller people. One of my sons is a professional guitarist, but is 6' 2", and he loves it. My daughter, who is smaller in stature and a beginner guitarist, said "It's perfect". I was surprized by the neck. It's different than my other high-end Taylors. It's more like a traditional C shape, rather than the "flat C" shape Taylor usually uses. At first I was disappointed because my LTD Taylors are the easiest necks I (or anyone else) have ever played. But after spending a few hours on it we all really like it. The tone also surprized me. It is phenomenal. Not just for a smaller bodied guitar, but phenomenal for any sized guitar. The bottom is really good. And it projects like crazy. We're finger-style players, and it is perfect. The tuners (traditional style) are quite good. Not as good as Gotoh tuners Taylor puts on the LTDs, but still good. Overall I give the guitar 11/10. Honestly. A last interesting fact: I live in Canada and because of COVID restrictions I wasn't able to actually get the guitar for almost two years after I bought it. Derek at Sweetwater kept it safe for me all that time and called me every few months to see if he could ship it. He was so good. A happy ending to a long story.
