First board
I got this in the sweetwater kit with the 1 spot power source. This was my first pedalboard and it took a while to take the leap. I talked it out with Geoff Allen, the best rep at sweetwater, before buying. As usual, Geoff steered me exactly right. Couldn't be happier. Very sturdy and all the goodies are top notch. Hats off to sweetwater for putting the kit together to start with… read more and many thanks to Geoff for his guidance. Once again, knocked out of the park and great service.
Perfect for my setup
If you were to use strictly stomp boxes and a small switching system, you would have all the room you need with plenty of space left for future growth. I have most of my effects housed in a rack and use a Ground Control Pro to switch them in and out. I also have a few expression pedals as well. From right to left in the picture below, following John Petrucci's example, my signal… read more goes as follows; JP6 into a splitter box (bottom right). The piezo side goes to palmer iso box(located under the board) then a tc electronic BodyRez, into Radial J48 (represented by a cardboard cutout until I can afford it). The magnetic side goes to Peterson StroboStomp HD tuner (also a cardboard cutout at this point), into a DigiTech Whammy DT, early 70's Vox wah, then out to the rack. The GCP changes patches on various pedals in the rack and does my amp (Boogie Mark V) switching. The Ernie Ball volume pedal is for volume (post pre-amp) via VCA in the rack.
WOW !
WOW is all I can say---light and big !! Yes a lot of green backs but I don't have to worry about my stuff. Easy to work with and just looks KOOL !! Sweetwater team was wonderful to work with.
Large enough for anything!
This makes my fourth Pedaltrain and of course it's the largest. First, all the pedal trains are amazing. They are very light, strong, include generous amount of hook-and-loop closure, and have the perfect amount of space underneath for mounting power supplies. This particular model is very large, and it's the perfect size to securely hold (and transport, with the rock solid and… read more well padded case) all seven Moogerfooger effects. With two Voodoo Lab Pedal Power Digital power supplies mounted below, I have all the Moogerfoogers lined up and powered, and I can easily put them right into the case for transport knowing that they will be well protected. Another perfect pedalboard from Pedaltrain!
Plenty of room
This pedalboard has plenty of room to hold a lot of pedals. Keeps things neat and easy to get to. It"s huge, so know that it takes a large footprint on stage. The case is awesome and easy to move around. I love it!
