I've used thick picks made of exotic materials to make them glide across the strings. I've used thinner picks made of a popular synthetic material (that's typically used to make nuts/saddles) that don't wear very well but still allow the strings to vibrate VERY freely. But this simple idea of shaping the striking edge of the pick in the most efficient way conceivable do is pretty read more great too! These flow picks get out of the strings way really well. I'm not sold on the tortex material or the size yet, but thankfully Dunlop makes their flow picks in a large variety of materials and sizes for me to try.

Flow pick design is my #1 from Dunlop; this pick is within my two fav picks to use depending on what I am playing (mood and/or style). Not high priced, good size (not big, not small) therefore easy to grab, not sleppery, warm thick tone and wow, so sweet for melodic solos... Definitely a must on my arsenal

Hard to PICK my favorite... 100% love this one.

My other favorite pick is the TIII, which I have in five different sizes. As the TIII picks are about 2mm longer than these, it took some getting used to, but was well worth it. I have never ordered more than a 12 pack of picks ever, but I like these so much, my next order will be the 72-pack. I'm seriously in love with these picks.

I pick pretty hard, I like a good "snap" but at the same time I also like control. I despise picks that feel paper thin and I rarely go below 1.5mm but these are the perfect in between pick. These are pretty much tied with the Petrucci picks as far as being my favorite. They have a very even response, you have great control, great feel, etc. Ya can't go wrong... Give em a shot.
