It’s awesome! But you Gotta know….

I saw the reviews here and I've seen a lot of people complain about these boards. But! I liked their website and their angle. So I wanted to see for myself. I'll spare you the long story. This board is awesome highly customizable! Which means! If you're gonna use up all the room on your board be ready to give it some thought, plan ahead, measure and custom cable is a must! Right read more angle jacks are kind of space killers. Straight short plugs will work way better. There's a ton of holes to run cabling through but you can do this best with making your own cables, which is not for everyone. I fixed my board up with generic patch cables and it's messy, but it's not finished yet so I didn't care. The modular is easy to use once you get Velcro out of your mind. This is a whole new system and if you put in the time to use it it's pretty freakin awesome. If you're looking for the generic quick set up go get yourself a pedal train or the classic boards, great boards and will do a great job for most people. If you're looking to get technical and customize truly make it your own this is a great system and can be made to look super pro. Plus lots of options with the mods. Bottom line is if you like getting technical your gonna love this board.

I have loved this pedalboard since day 1. It's as versatile as one could ask for. The accessories are readily available, my only suggestion is if you get a 28 or wider maybe add an extra underneath support bracket. I've gigged our solid every weekend for 8 months now and had no problems.

The board has cosmetic issues which aren't that big of a deal for me, but wanted to let folks know the powdercoating or paint is not even and there's some rivets or something on the sides that are coming through it (the standoffs from where the modules mount inside/underneath). The real problem for me is that the screws for the plates that allow you to add the cool modular stuff read more are extremely cheap. I also ordered the mini-plate for the MIDI adapter, and the four in/out module. The mini-plate had some cheap screws as well that were stuck in it. This made attaching the plate and module to the board a serious pain, and makes me worried how long they will stay in place. I tried contacting Temple Audio directly to see if they could send me new screws since those were messed up, or at least tell me what size they are so I can order some better quality ones. Never heard back! That's a huge disappointment as it seems the company doesn't care. The board itself will be problematic for certain patch cables and MIDI cables (I had to use a knife to shave down the sides so they will fit through the bigger holes). Just be aware of that. EBS flat cables were able to fit no problem so something similar should work. Overall, it will work for me, but I was disappointed that there are so many cosmetic issues. And I would definitely not spend any extra money on the modules!!! That stuff is just too low quality to put on a working musician's board.
