Completely changed my mind!
I'm a huge intellitouch fan. That was my go to piece of kit for, in don't even know how many years. Then I decided a few months ago to buy the latest version and something new to discover what are techy guys like me using. I was dumbfounded by how far left intelli went and how amazing Boss had become. I will never be without this tool again and will likely pack one in every… read more guitar case just in cause.
Gets real close
This review is based from a recording studio point of view. For live, it's great, do it. It's not a needle so the accuracy has a slight bit of variance. If you cannot hear slight variation of in-harmonic notes, your best bet is a tuner with a needle. As for those who just need to get it close then can handle the fine tuning by ear, it's a nice unit. If you want to tune to something… read more other than 440, then it's perfect. It's easy to calibrate an it keeps the settings unlike the Snark units. Display is great. I don't keep it on my instruments so I cannot speak to varnish damage. USB charged, I'd use nothing less.
Rechargeable with a nice screen
Let's face, I have owned a hundred tuners in my 50 years on this planet. I like this one better than the rest. Bright screen Accurate tuning Rechargeable Easy to use.
Great Tuner
Does exactly what it should without eating 2032 coin batteries by the dozen. Only negative I see is the spring/grip is pretty tight. I would be cautious keeping the tuner on a vintage/nitro/soft headstock where an indentation could form. Perhaps the spring strength will relax over time? Recommend.
