Ok, I don't give five star reviews. But this cab is ridiculous. I've thought for a very long time now that most speaker cabs are tragically overpriced. This cabinet proves that theory in spades. I needed a good 112 cab. So I'm looking around, seeing cabs for anywhere from $249, on up to $800 or so. What do you get? How do you tell the difference? I don't know. I read reviews. There read more are no bad reviews of this cab. Anywhere. I'm thinking, it must be really good "for the money". Probably not "great", or "fantastic", but these people are probably really blown away that it's about the cheapest cab out there and it sounds "pretty good". So I order one. I figure I can send it back when it doesn't live up to the hype. Nope. It's flippin' amazing. Really well built. No MDF box. Real birch. No junk speaker. A real Celestion, and not a rocker or 70/80. It's a 50 watt version of the G12-30H. Very, very nice sounding speaker right out of the box. Once it breaks in, yikes. It's a kid cab. It's a clear cab. It's a light cab. Under 20 lbs. It's great looking. And the sound? Very, very nice. It has an astounding low end for an open back 1X12. I've never heard this much bass out of a 1X12. It's not loose, or flubby either. It's not dark or muddy. It's huge, tight, thumpy, clear bass. I favor Brit amps. They generally have a natural EQ curve that's big in the middle and skinny on the bottom. I find myself turning the bass DOWN on all my amps. That's never happened before. It's not overwhelming, it's easy to deal with, and a good problem to have. All in all, I think for me personally, I'm really happy I bought this. If I had spent a lot more money on another cab, and then heard one of these, I'd be feeling pretty sheepish. Which brings me back to me original point- cabs are overpriced. It's a wood box and speakers. If it's well designed, it'll sound good. There is no reason for them to cost what they do. This Egnater proves that indubitably. If they can build a cab this quality, with a great speaker in it, that sounds like this, for $249 street, then so can everyone else. It's not magic. And they wouldn't be selling them if they weren't making money on them. I've had Avatar, Mesa, Orange, Boogie, Marshall, Fender, Peavey, Z, Bedrock, Laney, Hiwatt, and all loss of others. I'd not trade this one to have any of those back. They were all good cabs. They all did their job and sounded plenty fine. None of them were any better than this Egnater, and many of them weren't as good. And most of them cost more. Some a LOT more. Lesson learned. I'm getting another one of these. And I'm done buying 112 cabs.

This cab is awesome. It is perfect for my 15w Vox Night Train head. The speaker sounds great and it just looks cool.

I have two of the Egnater Tweaker 112s and I love them. I play at home, so i use them with two micro tube amps and they sound great. Clean and dirty tones come through very clear and full.

This is really an amazing little cabinet. First, it sounds amazing paired with the Tweaker 15. Second, it's so light and portable that it makes setting up for small gigs a joy. I spend a lot of time lugging a Marshall 412 around, and as much as I love that cabinet, moving it around is brutal. On an angled amp stand, this little guy can crank out sound enough for any small club or read more room. And the tone is brilliant. Lots of low end and bite...it's filthy. And the price is incredible. Highly recommend.
