Clayton is the best picks Period!

I have played every pick on the market. Clayton, Dunlop, Dandrea, Fender, Ect. I have played every material, Celluloid, Acetal, Delrin, Steel, Brass, ultex, tortex, nylon, you name it! But I only use Acetal in guitar, nylon on bass. I experimented with a lot of picks for my mandolin but didn"t like the feel of them. I tried Dunlop 550 Tortex which are Delrin. They are nice but are read more too quiet. I tried these Clayton Ultem picks and not only did they glide off the string, they brought out a brightness in the attack that I loved, it gave the mandolin a nice authority without any harsh Overtones. The thickness is perfect for me it has a little flex but not much. Allows for smooth tremolo that is controlled and you can dig in and not have an issue of the pick breaking cause it won"t! One pick will last you a while! I am still using the first one I got in the pack 4 months ago and it"s still going strong!

I have been using these picks for over eight years. I have tried MANY kinds, and I always prefer the tone of these picks. I mainly play classic Rock and Blues.Great feel, great tone. I notice the picks don't make as much of that strange swiping sound your tend to hear with other materials. Always a fan of Sweetwater too!
