I bought this because my last tuner's clamp broke. This tuner was clearly designed knowing that bad plastic clamps were a failure point, and the solution is great. Plus, the TC Electronic tuner algorithm is fantastic - I've had their tuner pedal, iOS app, and they always do a solid job of locking onto notes quickly.

I am using this for Acoustic steel string and Classical guitars. This tuner is VERY accurate... far more accurate than the Snark Super tight. The only reason I took a star off is the clip is kind of one dimensional. It does not swivel like many other tuners. An easy fix is ,I just cannibalized an old snark to make it work.

I have used a lot of clip-on tuners in my 60 years of playing guitar. When I bought this one, I found it to be so accurate that I bought several for my other musicians.

I got this tuner specially for my 5 string bass guitar. None of my numerous other tuners could deal with the low B string. This tuner has no problem with it at all. I actually removed the tuner from the clip and mounted it on the front of the pick guard. It works great there and is totally out of the way. It's very accurate especially on the strobe setting. I'll probably get… read more another one for my other guitars after being spoiled by this one.
