I bought this to be an elegant solution to keep my iPad charged while reading charts on gigs. But the power output is so low it makes it completely useless for my needs. I bought this because the description specifically said it would charge all my MOBILE devices. THAT HAS NOT BEEN THE CASE AT ALL!!!

I tried numerous voltages but never got this to charge at more that about 600mah, even when plugged directly into a 24v 1A power supply. Contacted Temple Audio support but did not receive a response.

Added this to my pedalboard to charge a tablet. I am powering it with a dedicated 9v 500ma output from my power supply. It works but the charging rate is really low. It can't even provide enough power to keep it on without draining the battery as well.

I have this installed on my board and it worked flawlessly but one thing you don't realize until it arrives the USB plug on the back is a USB Type B connector kind of shaped like a house. That isn't a problem, but hopefully this will help you buy the right cable to match the back :)
