Best Guitar Gig Bag for the Money
I now use Mono bags exclusively; they're worth the extra cost for the quality zippers, pockets, and padding. With Sweetwater, you can always reach out to your rep for advice on what's best for your budget, so def do that, but for me, Mono bags are the ones that have lasted, for years, the best. By far the best, tbh.
So much easier than a hardcase
Easy to store and carry. Plenty of protection. Fits my Warmoth Jazzmaster perfectly.
Mono Vertigo
This is my second Mono case now. I had gotten the acoustic sleeve that I use for my Gibson ES-165, and wanted a nice bag to carry my solidbody guitars around. I wanted something I felt comfortable carrying onto an airplane and asked Casey if he thought the electric version of the sleeve would be suitable for that. He recommended the Vertigo, and with his recommendation, I bought… read more the Vertigo. As always I am super pleased with my purchase. I use my Mono Vertigo just about daily and though have not yet flown with it, I feel completely comfortable doing so. Thank you Sweetwater!
MONO Vertigo Electric Guitar Case, Black
I bought this case for use either with my Fender Stratocaster (Classic Series '60s) or my Jackson SLSMG. Last month, I bought a MONO Sleeve Electric Guitar Case for the Stratocaster from Sweetwater, because the Stratocaster's hardshell case had broken. I was very pleased with the Sleeve case. It was as sleek as I had expected, and I was happy with the level of protection that… read more it provided for the guitar. The only negative of the Sleeve case was that it did not fit guitars with Gibson-style headstocks, such as my Jackson. A couple of weeks ago, I unexpectedly bought a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster. I decided to use the Sleeve case for the Telecaster and get a Vertigo case from Sweetwater for the Stratocaster. I chose the Vertigo case instead of a second Sleeve case so that I could use the case for my Jackson as well as the Stratocaster. I am very pleased with the Vertigo case. It is sleek, and it provides even more protection for a guitar than a Sleeve case. Both the Sleeve case and the Vertigo case are very well-built and attractive. The Vertigo case also fits both my Stratocaster and my Jackson SLSMG, as I expected. I also like very much the top-mount nature of the cases, enabling me to remove the guitar and put it back in the case, when the case is standing upright. I like the Vertigo case so much that I have ordered a second, gray Vertigo case from Sweetwater to use with my Jackson.
The Best
These cases are so solid. I have their pedalboard and now the electric case. Not one single complaint. If you care about your gear, spend a little extra dough and carry it around in one of these.
