This case is well worth the $$. The protection is second to none. For me it iw the perfect case as I use my guitar locally. The neck lock holds the guitar totally in place. The strap pin protection as well as th case being water resistant is one of the main reasons for buying this case. The only fault that I find is if the guitar has a wider neck, it may not fit into the neck lock.… read more Other than that, I would highly recommend this case to others. I was hesitant to spend this much on a "gig bag" but my current one (an old Road Runner soft bag that had holes in it) needed to be replaced a long time ago. The Mono Vertigo was worth every penny. Fits my Heritage 535 semi-hollow body like a glove, and the padded head stock enclosure in the case is fantastic. This is the second MONO Vertigo case I have purchsed. Based on my satisfaction with the first case, I ordered the semi-hollow version. This is a great case and affords superior protection for my 29-year old Carvin SH225. The neck support and overall construction is top drawer.
