Absolutely excited to give my daughter this BEAUTIFUL guitar as her BIG graduation gift!(I cannot afford the electric blue Jeep Wrangler she requested..haha ..ugh!) I cannot wait to hear her play this guitar on graduation day. I'm almost as excited for her to get this gift from Mama, than I am to watch her get her diploma! What a treat! June 4th, 2022 can't get here fast enough! read more Thank you Washburn! (If you'd like to throw in a Jeep, that'd be great! No pressure!) Elissa Fitzgerald

Just got mine today. Plays like a dream and looks absolutely gorgeous. Thanks to the Sweet water 55 point inspection guitar arrive in flawless condition as usual. I can't say enough about every Sweetwater experience I've had thanks to Nick Church (best in the business!) and the rest of the team. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Getting to know it

Have had this guitar only three days, so keep that in mind. Bought it as an alternate mellow sound to two other acoustics, a D28 spruce too, and a 1970s Guild f30 mahogany with red cedar top. This Washburn was my choice after looking at several minis and smaller sizes - usual suspects. Came close to buying a Martin jr, but wanted mahogany. Key things I notice: perfect build quality read more and setup (Sweetwater), easy to play as advertised, and most notably the notes ring forever, doing a droning note hangs on and on. Sound at this new stage is crisp. Comparing it to the sweet sounds of the Guild, it is way brighter, but not too much. One detail is that the body is a little narrower which adds comfort playing in a chair, even though it is a regular sized guitar. The Fishman pickup is very good alao with bass and treble and a phaser switch for more bass. Bottom line so far: very good deal but more important a legitimately nice guitar. Can't wait to play it in and use it for next small group (outside) performance.

Beautiful and unique

Gorgeous mahogany top, even the sides and back have striking depth and highlights. The satin finish of the mahogany neck is an outstanding choice, sleek feel and pretty as well. Rich and resonant, this axe is a head-turner. Washburn really hit this one out of the park.

I've had this a little over two months now. It's my favorite acoustic. I like it better than my Taylor 110ce. I used Earthwoods Medium Light, Light and Extra Light and the sound is good with all gages and the action is really good .. about as good as you are going to find on an acoustic and I've tried a lot of them. The size is very comfy. It's beautiful to look at. The one thing read more I did is order new bridge pins because I don't care for the ones it came with, a minor issue. My next step is to amp it and see how it sounds but I'm sure I'll be happy. All that said, I just love to pick up this guitar.
