I love the ability to be so organized using the Temple setup, but these modules also give me a level of redundancy against damage. I have actually had other musicians stomp or jump on my cables, breaking them off, leaving half the jack stuck inside the pedal. Using these modules I can protect my pedals value for resale and keep the input and output jacks clean in case I ever need… read more to troubleshoot / bypass something. The added level of protection and simplicity is amazing. Also a great help if you have stage hands trying to plug in your gear for you at a festival, when orange duct tape and sharpie "OUT" isn't simple enough. One CON would be how fragile the two set screws can be if the module isn't laying perfectly flat during installation. The screws and the pedalboard sides are soft metal and require finesse. I use the TRS outputs of my CAB M to the TRS inputs of this module, but it came with female XLR to male TRS cables which was kind of Temple Audio to include!
