Best warm-bright full range tone
I gotta say I've heard that the Polyweb was the older coating and not a lot of players use it but more the nanoweb, but man I restrung this new they sounded beautiful. As far as feel goes I haven't noticed a difference between nanoweb and the Polyweb coating but found it feels the same. I find the Polys a warmer yet a deep bright tone. Elixir is my number one string. I gave a review… read more on the nanoweb string a few months back and honestly as far as tone, both are great. I find the polys more my level because they are played all already. But in my honest opinion, Elixir cannot be beaten.
String of Strings
These are the best strings on the market.. HANDS DOWN!!
Great strings
These strings are great. Put them on an AJ-45S and it sounds great and plays even better. Gives my guitar the warm sound I wanted. Definitely gave it better tone on every string. Will buy again. Thanks Sweetwater for taking care of me.
Balanced tone
Great not too bright and not to dull. Very balanced and deep bass response.
Strings That Never Die
I've had a set of these on my Martin dx1kae for about 8 months and they still sound like they did when I first put them on. They are still bright shimmery and full of tone. Yes I will eventually replace them, but the life you get out of these strings is amazing. Well worth the price and I highly recommend them.
