Longest Surviving String

Hands down these strings are number 1 best. When I moved away from elixir, I've tried multiple guitar strings and other kinds of coated strings but they just loose tone after 5 days. I just tried D'addario EXPs and actually gave a review about it but after that they just died out. I play almost everyday so with the elixirs they should hold me out almost forever. In my opinion their read more is no string that lasts or rings long as the elixirs. In my opinion they give out the clarity I need and the sound I demand. I can leave my guitar anywhere in a humid area and pick it up again and it'll just be fine. Of course I want these so I don't have to have second thoughts and be a string nerd any more. I'll probably be getting these soon.

Doesn't Get Much Better

After buying and trying many different strings from different manufacturers, I will assure you that these are some of the best strings on the market. These ARE my go-to strings! The balance is superb. Highs and lows come through evenly. They also last me several shows (3 hour shows) and sound consistent. The strings are also comfortable to play. I play a Takamine EF341C and FD360SC read more and no other strings sound as great as these. It's also nice that these strings are USA made; one of my priorities in a string purchase. When playing these Elixirs, it doesn't get much better!

Love 'em

I have been playing guitar for over 50 years now. I entertain for 44 nursing homes so I am playing everyday. They outlast any other string I have tried. The last 4 to 6 weeks and rarely go out of tune or loose their tone. The only strings I will ever use.

Best Acoustic Strings Ever

I am just a fan of fresh, lively strings. These stay alive for 3-6 months, easy. I do not like the phosphor bronze though, too dark. The regular bronze are terrific and I highly recommend. And, knock on wood, they don't break on me either. The gauges starting at 11 are also really usable. I like the flexibility of playing solos and being able to get a slight bend, but they are still read more solid enough to not feel slinky for chord and finger style Travis stuff. I gave'em a 5 star rating!!!!!
