These strings shipped on a Yamaha Parlor guitar I bought 18 months ago. I've been playing my resonators exclusively for over a year. I just got around to playing my parlor again and the strings are still bright, fresh and in tune. Amazing.

Far Less String Squeak

Bill

Whilst using another brand of "treated" strings, I had excessive string squeak with my acoustic-electric guitar (admittedly, much of the noise indicates that my playing technique needs improvement). The squeaking was especially annoying when I plugged in to play or record. Now that I have switched to Elixer Nanoweb phosphor-bronse strings, the squeaking has been significantly reduced. read more Elixir strings have made me a very happy player.

I’ve had dozens of different guitars over the past 58 years and I love Elixir strings! The Nanoweb 80/20 strings are my go-to strings on higher end acoustic guitars with solid Rosewood back and sides! Nothing I’ve tried sounds even close!

I got the stock strings on my new Guild F-250CE from Sweetwater which are Daddarios. Based on a previous review here, I purchased these and I am definitely blown away ! I did watch the 2 informative videos in this product description and that helped influence my decision also. Great product that I did not mind paying a little bit more for and I am also going to try the acoustic read more polys and probably the electric guitar strings by Elixer for my Guild guitar.
