Warmth
The fact that these strings last so long is just one of the many benefits. They feel great and there is no tonal sacrifice with the coating. Thick, warm, and full.
My Favorite
Ive tried so many strings on my martin hd35, all sounded good because (not bragging) my hd35 is an amazing sounding guitar in my opinion. Although a short time back i finally tried a set of polyweb medium gauge strings and they sound great!!!! Its like they really bring out the woody sound of the rosewood back and sides. I have used louder strings but they have plenty of volume… read more and the tone is the best of any other string in my opinion. I didnt care for the nenoweb as they where to bright sounding. If you have a rosewood dreadnaught i certainly would give these a try.
The Best
Elixir Polywebs are the best strings, acoustic or electric, that I have ever used. I've been using them for years now. They last forever, and the sound is just as good as any other. I refuse to buy any other strings.
Very Good Product
Since my first pack of Elixir not long after they were invented I've used no other. For years I had to change out other brands after just four hours of use (one gig) due to I guess me having high acidity that simply crusted over the strings with corrosion. Not Elixir. They also can be cleaned up a bit after months of use and return the ring. I've tried other brands of coated… read more strings but they just don't seem to have the sound and lasting power of Elixirs.
Great Sound & Longevity
When I started playing the acoustic, I had no idea what made a good pack of strings. Time and time again, after trying many different brands, the best sound and feel comes from the polywebs. Plus, they are durable and for worship leaders that is a must.
