First and foremost my hand sweat a lot and my sweat is very corrosive. Every string brand I've used have only lasted up tp a week before being completely rusted and these last months without a single spot of rust. They will go dead before they rust. they last while and sound amazing Don't know how they did it but they work you will not be disappointed

Love Sweetwater and love these strings. I had corrosion problems for decades, even though changing strings religiously. With the Elixirs, I still change strings prior to every performance, but the feel and texture is pure and pleasing to the touch. Sonically true and full.

I had three requirements : heavy solid bottom, singing bendable highs, and long lasting. Then I finally decided (after 50 years playing) that price shouldn't be a consideration. Elixir 12077's filled all my requirements. Great strings. You do get what you pay for!
