Way back in the day I used to play roto sounds and had horrible calluses all over my fingertips. Ever since I played the first elixir strings it's like driving a Audi A8 compared to a Russian ladka. One of the few things thats actually worth the extra money. Tom Sawyer

Strings are as advertised. Great feel, great tone, incredible sustain (even on a bass with a plastic nut). I've got these on a p-bass and they are just fantastic, no finger squeak at all. I will buy again.

Since I was told about Elixir strings by my guitar tech about ten years ago, I've used their Nanoweb strings on four different basses I've played. They always deliver a great sound, and they last a long time. They're always comfortable to play as well. Elixirs are definitely my go-to strings.

The Elixir strings play as smooth as silk. They nano coating makes your fingers simply slide up and down the strings and feel great on your touch. They came originally on my Ibanez SR700 and I replaced them with Cold Steel. I won't do that again. This time I put the new Elixir strings on and the difference is amazing! Do yourself a favor and give these a try. You won't be disappointed.
