Simply sound beautiful on my GS mini!!
I have a Taylor GS Mini Mahogany and these are the recommended strings for this guitar. I just changed them after close to a year and WOW. I forgot just how bright and beautiful this guitar sounds with these new strings!! If you have a GS Mini, these are the perfect strings!! Stay in tune excellently too!!
Feels Great On Your Fingers!
I love these strings! I love the way they bend, the way they sound when they are plucked, and the feeling of them when you are sliding on the guitar. They just have a solid construction, and tone. Just like another reviewer has said, they came with my GS Mini as well, and I loved the earthy tone. Keeps my tone mellow since that is how I like it. I am really start to like Elixers,… read more and I have always used John Pearce for my acoustics. Everyone should give them a try at least once...
Nothing compares to sound and life span
Been using Elixirs on my acoustics and my electric guitars and basses for 15 years. I love the feel, tone and how long they last. These 13'set feels great, doesn't feel too heavy. I'm a working musician and can't afford too many string changes. They are also the most reliable, other brands tends to break on the treble strings after weeks of constant playing. Do yourself a favor… read more save your time and money.
Fantastic
I have been a life long user of Martin Strings 7200 but the Elixir is far superior and lasts a very long time. When I purchased the Santa Cruz FireFly vendor put Elixir Nanoweb 13-56 on the guitar. After five months of playing the guitar twice to three times a week, I was still embraced with the strings. I wondered would there be a difference in tone if I changed the strings.… read more I had no frame of reference because I had never tried Elixir. So after five months I changed them. The Elixir strings and Santa Cruz Parabolic Strings are equally outstanding in tone and long life. Hey Sweetwater, get some Santa Cruz Parabolic Strings. I would rather buy them from you folks.
These are the best
I've been using these string for the last 14 years. You can't sell me anything else! I've used quite a few different brands, but nothing out there compares to these. Taylor sells there guitars with these strings on them. That says a lot about the string!
