Magnifico
For all the Amplifier that I used this is the most clear and the versatile. It suits to all the Pedals that I have. Even if it's too small it dan deliver a super nice sound that you want to hear.
It's a keeper!
I'll say this up front, I'm a Keeley pedal junkie! Now with that said, This 25 watter does boast some niiiice headroom. Your drive pedals subtle nuances come out. The Efx loop has your delay/reverbs dancing, but I've tweaked some of my mod pedals to work best in the front. My Keeley Delay WS and Dyna-Trem, sound hugh in the loop, but my 30ms ADT, and Dyno-My-Roto sound thin, and… read more distant. The amp overdrives naturally well. Cranking it with the Compressor Plus in front makes me drool (Y'all) know what I'm talking bout. The treble pot sweep keeps it subdued, allowing you to roll in treble easy. The cab is solid, allowing the amp to resonate very, very well. I have no desire to swap out this CR 10 proprietary Eminence speaker. It's articulate, and responses to the killer amount of bass in this thing. It's a simple format. I like do'in more with the less features.
Great transparent and versatile combo!
I have not owned a tube amp for almost 10 years and honestly, didn't think I'd ever get another one. Years ago, I started collecting a few Keeley pedals as I have been friends with Robert since high school and watched him move from modifying pedals to making his own outstanding creations. About two years ago we met up at the Sweetwater Gearfest and told him I was planning on buying… read more a small tube combo to run my pedals thru. Never could I have imagined that he would do a collaboration with Supro and would be exactly what I was looking for! This amp is simple but has so many great features. It is super light, small, and easy to carry but is definitely a loud 25 watts. It is a perfect pedal platform with just a few controls and lets the tone come from the pedals. The amp has a great crunch by itself yet is really clean with the master volume up and standard volume control down low. Sounds great at low volume too. If you are looking for a well priced tube combo that can handle the tones and is extremely versatile, look no further. What can I say, my buddy makes great gear!!
Perfect
Was deciding between this and 68 custom deluxe. This is a much more versatile amp. I've tried the 68, which sounds wonderful, but actually is too distinct sounding to be a versatile amp. The Supro is more transparent and can do just about anything you ask it with the right pedals. Very well packed from Sweetwater and excellent service from my sales associate.
Just What I Need
This is such a great combo amp. It"s super versatile and really nice for gigging or recording. I was surprised by the leightweight and smallish footprint. Vibey clean tones and super fat and defined overdrive when you push the tubes. I"m in love. This is exactly what I have been looking for. It also looks great. People comment on how pretty it is when I play out.
